Man charged after threatening family over crying baby

Halifax District RCMP has charged a man with Uttering Threats in relation to an incident at a campground on Hwy. 2 in Grand Lake.

On July 16, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a man who was threatening a family at a campground on Hwy. 2 in Grand Lake. RCMP officers learned that a 47-year-old Dartmouth man, threatened the family after their baby started crying at a nearby campsite. RCMP officers located and safely arrested the man, who was intoxicated.

Peter Aaron Clarke, 47, has been charged with:

  • Uttering Threats
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order

Clarke was held in custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court.
