Man charged with dangerous driving causing death

From RCMP:

Cumberland County District RCMP has charged a man with several offences, including Dangerous Driving Causing Death, following an investigation into a fatal collision that occurred in October 2023.

On May 10, Cumberland County District RCMP, with assistance of RCMP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services, charged 25-year-old Tyler Joseph Strong of Amherst with:

  • Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death (three counts)
  • Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Causing Bodily Harm (two counts)
  • Criminal Negligence Causing Death (three counts)
  • Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm (two counts)

Strong is scheduled to appear in Amherst Provincial Court on August 12, 2024.
