Man Charged With Uttering Threats, Weapons Offenses

At 8:50 PM HRP officers responded to a threats complaint at a residence located in the 0-100 block of Christopher Ave in Dartmouth. 

Upon arrival patrol officers learned that the victims in this matter, an adult male and female, had been threatened by a party known to the them and that the suspect displayed a handgun when the threats were made.
As a result of this information, patrol officers contained a nearby residence where the suspect was believed to reside and shut down vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area. Shortly after doing so, three parties exited the suspects residence and were taken into custody but were later released without charge. The residence in question and the surrounding area was searched and pellet handgun was recovered. The suspect, who was not in the residence, later turned himself into police.  A 42 year old male from the Dartmouth area now faces weapons related charges, uttering threats and also intimidation of a justice participant. He has been held and will appear in Dartmouth Court in the morning. No one was injured during the course of this incident.
