Man faces charges after a disturbance, East Dalhousie, N.S.

Charges are pending against an adult male after a reported disturbance in a cabin in East Dalhousie.

On August 28th at approximately 7:57 p.m., RCMP from Kings District responded to a disturbance at a cabin in East Dalhousie.

Witnesses reportedly heard shots fired from within the cabin.

At approximately 1:40 a.m., a 52-year-old man was taken into custody by the RCMP Emergency Response team without incident.

The man was held in custody overnight and will be taken to court in Kentville this morning to answer to charges of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Careless Use of a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public and Mischief.
