From HRP:

On April 24 at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at the Dollarama, located at 118 Wyse Road in Dartmouth.

Security reported that a man entered the store, attempted to steal product and assaulted a security guard. The security guard sustained non-life-threatening injuries and did not require medical attention at that time.

Abdul Aziz Sairet, 40, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face a charge of robbery.
