Man faces charges after a search in Albany. Yesterday, 7:00 p.m., Annapolis District RCMP, assisted by the Annapolis Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Eves Street after a tip from Crime Stoppers.

Yesterday, 7:00 p.m., Annapolis District RCMP, assisted by the Annapolis Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Eves Street after a tip from Crime Stoppers.

Stolen property, associated to a recent cottage break and enter in Cherryfield was recovered at the scene.

Matthew Lake of Albany, 28, is facing Criminal Code charges including Break and Enter and breaching the conditions of his Undertaking. Mr. Lake is presently in custody in Halifax, having been arrested on March 12, 2014 for a Break and Enter in the Halifax area . Today, he is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court for a bail hearing.

Police want to thank Crime Stoppers for their assistance in helping solve the Annapolis County Break and Enter.
