Charges are pending against an adult male after a search in Bridgeville, Nova Scotia.

On August 25th at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU), with assistance from the Pictou County RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on East River West Side Road.

A 49-year-old man was arrested without incident. Police seized 22 marijuana plants and a small quantity of hashish.

The man was released from custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court on December 15th, 2014 on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Production of Marijuana under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The investigation continues.
