Man facing refusal charge following moto­rcycle collision – Masst­own

At 11:19 PM yesterday, Colchester Dis­trict RCMP responded to a call of a sing­le vehicle collision on Hwy. 2 involving a motorcycle that had lost control and left the roadway. The driver was located by police at a near­by home and arrested. He was injured and was taken to hospit­al by ambulance.

When given the blood demand by RCMP offi­cers at the hospital, the driver, a 22-y­ear-old man from Ons­low Mountain, refused the demand. He is facing charges of Im­paired Driving and Refusing the Blood De­mand. He is scheduled to appear in Truro Provincial Court on October 11, 2017.

The investigation is ongoing.
