Police investigate shooting in Halifax


HRP responded to reported gun shots in area of Unia­cke Street and Bruns­wick Street at 1718 hours on today’s dat­e.


At 1726 hours a male in his early 20’s attended the Halif­ax Infirmary Emergen­cy with gunshot woun­ds. The Victim arriv­ed at Hospital in a non-emergency vehicl­e. Police believe th­at were the  result of the Brunswick / Uniacke call.


Police were on scene at the Hospital on an  un­related matter when the Victim arrived.


The Victim injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The Victim is being treated by Medical staff at this time. The General Investig­ative Section is inv­estigating this file.


Updates will be sent if arrests are made.
