At 2:20 p.m. yesterday, Kings District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Greenfield Rd., involving a car and a motorcycle. The two vehicles collided, and the male driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle was thrown into a wooded area adjacent to the road. He is an 18-year-old man from Kings County. He was transported via LifeFlight to hospital with what is believed to be serious injuries. The occupants of the car were not injured.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, and an RCMP Traffic Analyst was called to examine the scene. Greenfield Rd. was closed between Ridge Rd. and White Rock Rd. The road has since been re-opened.
