Man robbed near Bayers Road & Romans Ave

Halifax Regional Police has charged a man in relation to a robbery that occurred in Halifax yesterday.

On January 1 at approximately 9:35 p.m. officers responded to a robbery that had occurred in the area of Bayers Road and Romans Avenue. A man approached another man, who was not known to him, threatened and assaulted him, stole his property, and then fled the area on foot. The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Officers arrested the suspect in the area a short time later, without further incident.
