Man Shot, Police Looking For Suspect

At 730 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of Sunrise Walk, Halifax.  

At 730 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of Sunrise Walk, Halifax.  

A twenty five year old man reports being shot at, while he was outside near Sunrise Walk. The victim was transported to the QE 2 hospital with a hand injury, which is not life threatening. Police members are currently still at the scene, the Forensic Identification Unit and the Integrated HRP/RCMP General Investigative members are continuing the investigation. At this time the only description of the suspect is a male with dark hair.

Halifax Regional Police are requesting that anyone with information about this incident  to contact police at 490-5016.
