Man steals over $5000 in cellphones using stolen identities

Have you seen this person or vehicle? On May 13, this man entered a telecommunication store in Antigonish and purchased two cellular phones on credit.

On May 19, the same man entered a telecommunication store in Port Hawkesbury and purchased more cellular phones on credit. The man provided different identification cards on both occasions and used two different names.

Investigators have determined that the man is using personal information of others in order to obtain credit.

The costs of the cellular phones and the credit obtained is approximately $5,500. Anyone who recognizes this person or vehicle is asked to contact the Inverness County District RCMP at 902-625-2220.
