Man struck and killed by Halifax Transit bus

At approximately 7:35 pm on October 29, Halifax Regional Police responded to an incident at 24 Nantucket Avenue – Halifax Transit bus Terminal.  A 67 year old man succumbed to his injuries after contact was made with a Halifax Transit bus in motion. Police remain on scene in the area. This matter is in the early stages of the investigation and limited details are available at this time.  The bus terminal remains closed while police conduct their investigation.

Thoughts are with the man’s family.
