Three Kentville men charged with drug offences

The Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (VISCEU) has charged three people with drug offences.

On September 22, 2022, VISCEU, with assistance from Kings District RCMP, Kings District General Investigation Section (GIS) and the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia, executed a search warrant at a home on Campbell Rd. in North Kentville.

Three people were safely arrested at the home and during the search police seized cocaine, scales, cellphones, drug paraphernalia and cash during the search.

Cody Robert Olmstead, 36, of Kentville, Arielle Carin Nickerson, 31, of North Kentville, and Renee Hope Nickerson, 54, of North Kentville, were all charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. Both Nickerson’s were later released on conditions.

Olmstead has also been charged with Failure to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order (three counts). He was remanded into custody and appeared in Kentville Provincial Court on September 29, where he was released by the court on conditions.

All three will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on November 30, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
