RCMP are confirming that the man who sustained serious burn injuries in a fire last week has died.

The 69-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Sunday.

On January 28th, 12:50 p.m., RCMP, Island and Barrington Fire Department and Emergency Health Services (EHS) responded to a structure fire on Highway 3 in Barrington Passage. Preliminary investigation revealed the fire occurred in a mobile home which was not occupied but was under construction.
