(Updated) Man suffers non- lifethreatening injuries after stabbing in Halifax

Update. The victim, a 23 year old male is currently in hospital recovering.

The injuries were not life threatening.

A 19 year old male is being held for court in the morning, going to Spring Garden Road Provincial Court.

He is being charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapons dangerous, resist arrest and causing a disturbance. The two parties were known to each other.

At 04:00 Police attended a stabbing on Blowers St at Argyle St in Halifax.

The adult male victim was take to hospital with what appear to be non life threatening wounds.

An adult male is in custody.  Update will follow pending further investigation.
