Man taken to hospital after Chocolate Lake incident

At 5:00 PM Thursday HRP was requested to assist HRM Fire and EHS at a medical emergency at Chocolate Lake in Halifax. 

A 20 year old male was swimming at that location, his family lost sight of him and alerted the duty life-guards who entered the water and located the man. The subject was treated at the scene by EHS and then taken to the QE II in serious condition.
