Ally: I write this on the first day of spring! Which means it must be time to talk about this year’s Mango Girl (what I officially call the line’s spokesladies). I don’t know why I was so behind on this, maybe because it wasn’t featured in my most recent issue of US magazine, but Kate Moss is the new face of Mango.

Besides adoring Kate Moss in general, I actually like this outfit!

I was bemoaning to L-A today about my lack of clothing (we will be desk mates three days a week for the next eight weeks! Yay to being a freelancer!), but after seeing this outfit perhaps I’ve found one solution? I’ve never been a big belted dress sort of girl, but it sure beats the cords and brown Keds that I was sporting today.

Apparently they were intimate. I can’t…I can’t…I can’t even go there.

So I agree with the Huff Post (are we calling it that?) that this shoot is shocking for its modesty. Am I missing a nipple somewhere?

The clothing isn’t rocket surgery, but I think that’s why I like it for real life times. Sure, I talk the game about festival fashion, but we all know/L-A tells me that no one actually wears that outside of California over the age of 16.

This shizz is ridiculously affordable too. The blazer and jeans outfit that Kate is sporting above? You’re looking at a total outfit for approximately $200 (I can’t do math real good, so don’t take me to the bank on that one). The cute little pink dress with belt? $29.99 (incidentally the belt is the same price…I find this strange?).

Kate and Terry also shot a seriously strange video for the campaign. He’s a really poor actor. He creeps me out worse than Ke$ha.

With that I’m going to eat some ice cream. Word?
