Since Christmas is fast approaching and everyone loves buying gym memberships this time of year, I figured I’d put together a gym inspired “outfit”. This one is great because all that you need to do is swap out the shirt/shorts and you have the next days outfit.
A few points to consider when dressing for the gym:
Layering is important on your way to the gym, whether walking or driving you want the convenience of being able to keep warm before the workout, and also to remove a layer or two after the workout in case you get too warm.
Water bottle is key to stay hydrated throughout your workouts (and minimize trips to the water cooler/maximize time actually working out).
Gym bag is key to store your lock (no pun intended), music player, water bottle, supplements and towel/dopp kit for afterwards.
A good watch, preferably one with a chronograph, is also important for timing your cardio and weight sets.
