Update: On August 7th, 2016 at about 6:00 am Cheryl Parsons was located safe and sound walking on a Downtown Dartmouth Street. Halifax Regional Police would like to thank the Media and the Public for their assistance in locating Ms. Parsons.
Original post: Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth woman.
Forty-three-year old Cheryl Parsons was last seen at a residence on Trillium Court in Dartmouth on August 2. She was reported missing to police on August 4. Investigators believe that she may be in the area of Gregory Drive in Dartmouth and Halifax Ground Search and Rescue, along with Halifax Regional Police, are currently searching the area. Police ask residents in the area to check their backyards, sheds and outbuildings for any signs of Cheryl.
Cheryl is described as a white woman, 5’1”, 240 lbs with long straight dark hair. She also has a tattoo of a green frog on her right calf. There is no clothing description available.
There is no information to suggest that Cheryl has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for her well-being. Officers request that Cheryl or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
