Money found

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance finding the owner of a sum of money found in Halifax on May 30.
 
Shortly after 1 p.m., an officer located an item in the Quinpool Road area. Upon closer examination, a sum of money was located inside the item along with other things; however, there was nothing to identify the owner. The officer checked local businesses and did not find any information in relation to the item or its owner.
 
The owner or anyone with information regarding the owner is asked to contact police at 490-5016. In order to claim the money, the person must be able to specify what the money was in, the amount of money and in what denominations, and where the item was lost.
