Release:

On May 8 at approximately 4:45 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Portland Street and Highway 111, northbound at Exit 7 ramp in Dartmouth.

The driver of the car and the passenger were not injured. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital by EHS with what were believed to be serious injuries.

The 37-year-old driver of the motorcycle was issued multiple tickets under the motor vehicle act:

• Driving motor vehicle without motor vehicle liability policy
• Operating unregistered vehicle
• Driving motor vehicle while license or privilege of obtaining license revoked
• Operating vehicle without valid inspection sticker or valid inspection certificate for vehicle in possession
