The RCMP Cape Breton Traffic Service’s Unit arrested a man for Impaired Driving near Coxheath.
Yesterday,at approximately 3:30 p.m., a RCMP Officer was flagged down by a motorist on the Highway 125 near Coxheath.
The motorist advised that they had been following an erratic driver.
A short time later, officers located and pulled over a vehicle matching the description provided by the motorist. The male driver was arrested at the scene for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. A breath test was administered and it was determined that the man’s blood alcohol level was over three times the legal limit.
A 56-year-old male from Ross Ferry is facing charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle along with Failing the Breathalyzer. He is scheduled to appear in Sydney Provincial Court on December 16th, 2013.
