Natural gas pipeline restoration – Quinpool Road

Friday, April 24, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that on Monday (April 27), crews will begin the permanent restoration of a natural gas main trench installed in January on Quinpool Road between Vernon Street and Monastery Lane. Some saw-cutting may take place today (Friday) in preparation for next week’s work. 

Lane drops will be in place and some parking may be restricted. No work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., or 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The restoration work is expected to take three days.   

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
