The essentials when traveling to Mexico? Bikinis, sundresses and flip flops. Somehow I still managed to pack 50lbs worth of stuff, but really in the end those 3 things were all I needed. The flip flops I brought with me were courtesy of Teva and they were the perfect travel flops. I was a little worried about not having any time to break them in to see how they felt {we still had lots of snow here before we flew to Mexico}, but thankfully Teva knows how to make a good sandal and the straps were comfortable, I had no blisters and the footbed molded to my foot almost instantly. And yes, every shoe company claims to have the comfiest ones around, but Teva really does have the technology to back it.

natural mommie travel pick: teva sandals The Teva Contoured Ribbon Mush is a more minimal version of their Classic Mush sandals. It’s basically lighter and slimmed down but still has all the comfort of the original. I have the Lotus Stripe with black and silver and I wore them nearly the entire trip except for a couple of nice dinners where I whipped out the heels. But yes, my Teva’s were my first pick everyday for walking around sight seeing, hanging by the pool, going to watch a show, dancing and even biking which is why they are for sure a Natural Mommie Travel Pick.

These flip flops are still my favorites at home now. The straps are in great condition, the soles aren’t getting worn down and the footbed is a comfy material unlike cheapy plastic ones. I’m a size 5 and the sizing was right on. It’s an all around great sandal for $26.
