Nova Scotia Health Authority experiencing several closures

NSHA release:

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is experience several closures today, Saturday, September 16. These include:

  • Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital Emergency Department in Lunenburg
  • Mobile Primary Care Clinic at Cobequid Community Health Centre
  • St. Margaret’s Bay Blood Collection in Upper Tantallon. Patients with booked appointments can go to Bayers Road Blood Collection, 7071 Bayers Road, Suite 141 for their appointment.

Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911.

For non-urgent care, please call your family doctor or visit a walk-in clinic.

For general health advice and information call 811, a service offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week by experienced registered nurses.

The Mental Health Crisis Line can also be reached 24/7 by calling 1-888-429-8167.
