Nova Scotia Health Authority launches province-wide blood collection survey

Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) launched a provincial blood collection survey today to ask Nova Scotians: “How can NSHA improve blood collection services?”

The survey will run through Nov. 18.

Available online at www.nsbloodcollection.caand on paper at NSHA blood collection locations, the survey asks the public about:

  • factors related to blood collection locations, such as access to transportation, parking, signage, waiting area, wait times, helpfulness of staff and appointment availability;
  • use of in-home/at-work blood collection in the past;
  • potential improvements to NSHA blood collection services.

The survey will help NSHA understand the needs of Nova Scotians and will guide future service improvements. A summary of results will be shared in January 2019.
