Nova Scotia RCMP and Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre (Atlantic) partner to bring career options to next generation of police officers, sailors, soldiers and aviators

Nova Scotia RCMP and Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre (Atlantic) invite individuals interested in a challenging, rewarding career to a recruiting event on February 28. Recruiters are looking forward to meeting with individuals to speak about job opportunities in both organizations.

“This is the first time in Nova Scotia that the RCMP and Canadian Armed Forces have partnered for a recruitment presentation,” says Insp. Barry Pitcher, RCMP Career Development and Resourcing Officer. “We recognize those applying for the RCMP and the Canadian Armed Forces often have similar backgrounds or areas of interest so let’s find ways to work together to maximize our potential to bring new talent to both our organizations.”

Both forces will present on what a career with their organization can offer and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

“This joint recruiting event undertaken by the Nova Scotia RCMP and Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre in the Halifax area is an innovative approach to recruiting,” mentions Major Jimmy Falldien, Commanding Officer, Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre (Atlantic). “Both of our organizations recognize the benefits of a diverse, professional workforce and though a collaborative approach we can introduce talented, motivated and qualified applicants to both of our organizations.”
