Nova Scotia RCMP launch Facebook pages The RCMP in Nova Scotia have officially launched French and English Facebook pages.

Learn more about RCMP Units in the Province or find out what the RCMP are doing in your community. Check out our photo albums on Facebook and you can see for yourself.

For the past year, the Nova Scotia RCMP has been actively using Twitter to get information to the public. Over 2000 followers are receiving Tweets about breaking news, traffic updates and other useful information.

“Like” our Facebook page so you can stay current and know what is going on across the province via photos, and features on the Wall. You can “Like” us at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia and Gendarmerie royale du Canada en Nouvelle-Écosse.

Assistant Commissioner Alphonse MacNeil, Commanding Officer of Nova Scotia says, “It is important that we continually look for ways to engage the public and through social media we have the ability to communicate directly to the citizens we serve in real time.”
