RCMP are currently on scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash near East Preston.

At 2:33 p.m. , RCMP responded to the single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 7.

The driver had life-threatening injuires and was transported to hosptial and he later died due to his injuries. Preliminary investigation reveals that the driver attempted to avoid a turning vehicle and lost control. Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.

Police are advising that this portion of highway will be closed until further notice. A RCMP Traffic Analyst has been called in to assist with the investigation.
