On Scene: Police Investigate Homicide

Police identify homicide victim
 
The victim in last night’s homicide has been identified as 28-year-old Daniel Michael Pellerin of Dartmouth.
 
At 10:34 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of 276 Windmill Road in Dartmouth after witnesses observed three men involved in a fight. Upon police arrival, a male victim was located unconscious, suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital by EHS where he was pronounced dead. Both suspects are described as white men in their 20’s and they were both wearing dark clothing. They were last seen running Northbound on Windmill Road before officers arrived on scene.
 
Investigators were able to determine that Daniel was last seen in North-end Dartmouth around 7 p.m. last night, riding a mountain bike and wearing a black bicycle helmet. They would like to speak with anyone who may have seen him between 7 p.m. and the time of the incident.
