Open City Returns, Yay!


After the inaugural Open City I wrote this post Open City Recap

and now its back again bigger and better. There may not be a steamroller but there is the launching of ship.

Plus great options from backdoor takeouts Chives, Fid, Hamachi House, Nomad Gourmet, Food Wolf, BoneHeads, Hamachi Steak House, Bramosa, Saege, Brussels, Word Tea House, Uncommon Grounds, Local Source, Dee Dee’s, Foggy Google,  Harbour City Grill, Sugah!, Le Bistro by Liz, MODA, Le French Fixe, Q Smokehouse, Pete’s, Salvatores, Tempo, Charcuterie Ratinaud, CUT, Indochine, Morris East, Stories and introducing 2 Doors Down

Plus there are takeouts where folks don’t usually have food Garrison will have Getaway Farms, P’lovers will have Envie, and Peak Audio will have Wrap So D

There will be sampling and deals in both Halifax Farmer Markets, shops thru Bishops Landing and Hydrostone area are on board

Plus Mothers Pizza will even have a Dance Party, and other places are offering you a way to try out their activities.

There are also lots of other small retail business offering discounts and special events

There are lots of other things to do as well including events at the Archives, Museum of NH, Art Gallery,  Grand Parade

This is event is for the people of HRM to experience the “little guy” who make a living on the Halifax Peninsula, through unique ideas and great service.
