A woman was hurt, and then ticketed yesterday morning in Downtown Halifax.

From HRPD:

At 700 am a 20 year old female pedestrian was attempting to cross Barrington street near the Niobe Gate Bridge.  She was apparently walking with her bicycle and quickly entered out into traffic.  She was struck by a Northbound vehicle and transported the QE II for observation. Injuries were not serious.  A SOT was later issued to the pedestrian for  MVA 126, Pedestrian failing to obey traffic signals.
