Pedestrian Struck On Quinpool Road

At 7:40 PM members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Quinpool Rd & Monastery Lane in Halifax. 

The pedestrian, a 32 year old woman was crossing Monastery Lane (west bound) in the cross walk when she was struck by a vehicle turning left onto Monastery Lane from Quinpool Rd. The pedestrian was treated at the scene by EHS and was released as she did not suffer any injury. The 49 year old male driver that struck her was issued a Summary Offence Ticket under the Motor Vehicle Act for Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian in a crosswalk.
