Pictou County District RCMP is investigating serious single vehicle rollover.

At approximately 4:45 p.m. a 911 call was received of a serious motor vehicle crash on Pictou Island. RCMP members, accompanied by EHS, made their way by boat to the Pictou Island crash.

Upon arrival all occupants in the vehicle, ranging in ages from five to seventeen, had suffered serious injury. Transport of the injured along with EHS Paramedics is expected via military helicopter to hospital in Halifax.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
