At approximately 1:09 p.m. Thursday, Halifax Regional Police responded to a sudden death call at a home on Farquharson St in Dartmouth.
HRP determined the victim in this matter is a 59 year old woman from Dartmouth. They remain on scene today investigating. No other details available as the investigation continues.

Police are currently at the scene of a suspicious death in Dartmouth.
At approximately 1:09 p.m. today, Halifax Regional Police responded to a sudden death call at a home on Farquharson Street.
Responding officers located a deceased person inside; the gender and age of the deceased are not being released at this time, pending next of kin notification.
Investigators in the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are in the preliminary stages of the investigation into this suspicious death and Forensic Identification Officers are currently processing the scene.
