Police investigating bank robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a Halifax Bank that occurred earlier today.

At approximately 12 p.m. police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Bank of Nova Scotia located at 3480 Dutch Village Road. A man entered the bank said he had a gun and demanded money from the teller. The suspect then fled on foot with an amount of money. There was no weapon seen and there were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man in his thirties to forties, slim build, 5’’8” with short hair. He was wearing jeans and a black winter jacket with fur on the hood.
