Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a quantity of cash that was lost this week in Halifax.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a quantity of cash that was lost this week in Halifax.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on February 27 police received a call reporting that a woman had withdrawn a quantity of cash from the automatic teller machine located in the Lawton’s Drugs at 16 Dentith Road in Halifax.​ It is believed that the envelope containing the cash fell and was lost near the machine.

Police would like to see that the money is returned to its rightful owner and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or has information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5020.​ Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip atwww.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
