Police arrest two males for copper theft in Lower Sackville, NS

On August 17, 2011, 8:34 PM, RCMP responded to a Break and Enter in Progress at a house under construction on Ledgeview Drive in Lower Sackville.  When police arrived, they could hear voices near the house.  A pickup truck was parked in the driveway.  In the back of the truck, police observed a quantity of copper wire.  Further investigation found the suspects hiding in the woods behind the house.  They were arrested without incident.
 
Two men, ages 21 and 22, from Middle Sackville will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on October 5, 2011.  They have been charged under the Criminal Code with Trespass at Night, Break and Enter, Theft, Mischief, and Possession of Stolen Property.
