Police Ask for Help IDing 2 Men, Vehicle After Children Approached

Halifax Regional Police is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle and two men who approached two children and offered them a drive.  This Evening, officers received a report that on January 26th 2016 at between 12:45 pm and 1:00 pm., two men driving a shiny, dark colored, four door car pulled up beside an 11-year-old girl who was walking to school with a younger girl in the area of Jubilee Rd and Vernon St in Halifax. The male passenger in the vehicle rolled down his window and asked if they needed a ride.  The girls refused and the vehicle left the area Southbound on Vernon St.

There are limited details at this time. The passenger is a man described as being in his late 20’s and has long orange colored hair and an orange colored beard, there is no description available of the driver at this time.  The vehicle is described as being a shiny, dark colored, four door car.
