Missing woman – police seek public’s help

Diana Covell

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax woman.

On March 15 just after 3 p.m., Halifax Regional Police along with EHS responded to a medically-related call to a unit in an apartment building in the 200 block of Willett Street. Police searched the unit, the building and the surrounding area and could not locate 66-year-old Diana Covell, the resident of the unit. Diana’s family confirmed that they last spoke with her on March 14.

Diana is described as a white female, 5’4”, 198 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Diana drives a blue, 4-door, 2013 Chevrolet Cruz, with a Nova Scotia license plate number FND 512. Diana’s car was not at her residence at the time of this call and has not been seen there since.

There is no information to suggest that Diana has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for her well-being. Officers request that Diana, or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
