Police Continue to Investigate the Murder of Jaurmar Carvery

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the murder of Jaurmar Carvery and the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case.

On May 3, 2008 at 12:08 a.m., two HRP beat officers patrolling on Gottingen Street heard gunshots from the area of Sunrise Walk and Olympic Court. The officers immediately responded to the area, where they found 21-year-old Jaurmar Carvery lying on the walkway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Jaurmar was transported to hospital by EHS but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

The investigation into Jaurmar’s death remains active but unsolved at this time.
