Police have charged a man in relation to aweapons call in Dartmouth last night.

At 6:48 p.m. police responded to a residence in the 0-100 block of Jackson Road in relation to a weapons call involving a sensory irritant. Upon arrival police located three victims inside a residence who had been sprayed with a sensory irritant. A suspect was identified and at approximately 7 p.m. members of patrol arrested a man in the 0-100 block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth without incident.

Eighteen-year-old Tyson Kimball Young of Dartmouth has been charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and one count each of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, breach of probation and breach of recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
