From HRPD:

The victim in Saturday night’s homicide has been identified as
19-year-old Keya Knita Simon of Halifax. The victim and her sister were
stabbed during a fight at a party on Pinecrest Drive that was attended
by 25-30 people.

Mason Borden, a person of interest in this file, attended police
headquarters last night at 10:15 p.m. He was arrested on an unrelated
outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. Investigators have
spoken with him and he is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial

Dartmouth Patrol Officers located the Mercedes Benz that investigators
were looking for in relation to this matter. It was located on Paul

police. Forensic Investigators will be processing the vehicle today.

Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who was at the
party and are asking those people and anyone else with information about
this incident to contact police at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime
Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
