On Sunday evening at approximately 7:30pm Halifax Regional Police responded to Joseph Young Street, Dartmouth where a 50 year old male reported being assaulted by two younger males as he was exiting a residence. The victim reports that during the struggle, one of the males attempted to retrieve a knife that was concealed in his clothing. The victim manages to fight off his attackers who fled the area on foot. The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1: White male, early 20’s, 5’7”-5’9”, blond hair wearing Blue Jeans, red coat with hoody and a red bandana over his face.
Suspect #2: Black male, early 20’s, 5’4”-5’5”, wearing a black ball hat, black hoodie and dark pants.
Halifax Regional Police is requesting anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information that may assist investigators to please contact police at (902) 490-5016
