Police are seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information on an altercation that occurred outside a Halifax bar on Thursday night.

At approximately 0015 hours on May 17, officers were alerted to an injured person outside Reflections Bar at 5187 Salter Street in Halifax. The victim, a 23-year-old Halifax man, sustained injuries from a fall resulting from the altercation.

The victim was taken to hospital for life-threatening injuries.
