At approximately 6:26 p.m. last evening, a man entered a gas station on Sackville Dr. where he demanded money. The gas station attendant handed over a small amount of cash and the man left the store on foot. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, slim build, about six feet, dark blue hoodie with grey fur trim on the hood. He was wearing a black mask, blue jeans and black sneakers with neon green colouring on them. He was last seen driving a bicycle on Bruce Dr. in Lower Sackville.
Police arrived on scene and were assisted by Halifax Regional Police K-9. The suspect was not located but the investigation is ongoing and is now being led by the Integrated General Investigation Section.
