Police investigate armed robbery in Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality, N.S.

Members of the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section are currently investigating an armed robbery in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. At approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening, Sackville RCMP responded to a 911 call at a business in the 600 block of Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening, Sackville RCMP responded to a 911 call at a business in the 600 block of Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.

A male suspect entered the store, assaulted the employee, stole jewelry and then fled on foot. The 64-year-old male employee sustained minor injuries in the assault.

The suspect is described as a white male with red hair, wearing a white jacket and green ball-cap.

The RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section attended the scene and are in the early stages of the investigation.
