At 9:20 p.m., 29 April, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of Weapons Call at Berkley Brae / Glenwood Ave, Dartmouth. A caller reported to 911 that he was assaulted in his vehicle by three males that exited another vehicle while at a stop sign. The caller sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Hospital and his vehicle was damaged.
At 9:35 p.m., officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested the occupants in in the 0-50 block of Regent Dr. Dartmouth. Police confirmed the suspects and victim are not known to one another. This was not a random incident. The incident is believed to have occurred as a result of a driving complaint.
The investigation is in the initial stages, however, Criminal Code charges are expected. Police are not looking for any other suspects.
